At one of their key facilities, dependency on manual maintenance activities for critical rotating assets resulted in unplanned downtimes, because of which the plant teams sought to implement strategic cutting-edge solutions.

Operating a large factory, the earlier methods for vibration data collection was being done using handheld sensors, which was further analyzed by vibration experts and identify harmful defects. Due to the large number of rotating assets, the existing method fell short due to vast number of critical assets, low frequency of data collection, and reliance on manual analysis.
